Yoga can be very beneficial to toddlers and children in many different ways. Yoga includes breathing techniques, focus, and physical postures which can help with concentration. Physically, it can improve flexibility, strength and coordination. Overall, they learn to concentrate and relax which brings a sense of calm to children. In our classes, we focus on the fun and playful elements of yoga combined with exercise and postural sequences.
These nique classes that have been designed for babies from advanced crawling to age 2. The 6 week courses include movement, singing, stories and nursery rhymes, treasure baskets and sensory play to engage and stimulate a busy toddler! The courses can be enjoyed time and time again as toddlers approach it differently each time with their advancing mobility and understanding.
