Would you like to learn about birth, your options and how your partner can support you?
Do you feel lost in a maze of information and have lots of unanswered questions?
Are you interested in learning how hypnobirthing techniques can really help?
Would you like to meet others for friendship and support?
Do you have any idea how to hold a baby, change a nappy, bath a baby and breastfeed?!
About Birth & Babies offers comprehensive antenatal courses for expectant parents in Norfolk and north Suffolk. During the pandemic we’re offering these courses online across Zoom.
When it’s safe and practical to do so we will be returning to face to face courses but for now we’re continuing with online courses. Some prospective clients have expressed their concerns about meeting online but it works! Our interactive, LIVE, online courses are now well established. It has been a surprise and a pleasure to discover that we can still achieve these crucial elements of our courses online:
– small group discussion and interaction, leading to the formation of group support, friendships and a sense of belonging
– interactive, lively learning, time for questions, exploration of choices, enabling informed decision making for labour and birth
– physical skills for labour, partner support and practical baby care through the use of dolls/teddies or babies made from towels!
Hundreds of parents join us each year on our award winning classes. We run early pregnancy classes, full antenatal courses and refreshers. We also offer one-to-one sessions for those who prefer not to be part of a group or whose lifestyles mean they would find it difficult to attend all the sessions on a full antenatal course.
We won ‘Best Pregnancy Class/Service in Norfolk’ two years in a row and regularly receive 5* rated reviews and referrals from previous clients and midwives.
As highly trained, experienced and licensed birth educators we can help! Our classes are designed to complement the education and support that midwives provide. We know some couples are keen to extend their knowledge or would prefer small groups which offer an opportunity to make life-long friends and where time can be spent discussing what matters to them.
We’d love to help you prepare for the birth of your baby!
