Tues 1:30-2:30pm The baby yoga classes are a combination of stretches for the baby and parent/carer. The sessions are fun and interactive and include songs counting and props to stimulate their development. We start with some dry baby massage, this is done over their clothes and helps them to relax, we do some warm up stretches for you and some for the baby and then we alternate between stretches for the baby, you and stretches together. A one-hour session is the equivalent of 24 hours stimulation for the baby which is why we break it up with stretches for you so that they are tired afterwards but hopefully not over tired and cranky! The sessions end with a relaxation for you and the baby followed by a healthy homemade snack.
Throughout the session I give tips of things you can do at home. These tips are based on my yoga knowledge (both adult and baby yoga), nutrition and personal experiences as mum of a 1 year old. We have a closed facebook group where recipes and useful information are shared.
