Pregnancy Yoga classes will help to prepare your body and mind throughout your pregnancy, during your labour and afterwards. I teacher mainly Dru Yoga and combine that with my skills of pregnancy yoga. Classes start with an introduction and chance to chat and discuss any concerns you have with me and others in the class (this is a good bonding experience and way to make you feel at ease with other new mums), we then have a breathing technique and then a warm up to some popular music to get your muscles warm, joints mobile and circulation flowing before moving on to energy block release sequences, which are gentle movement with a spinal focus and then we add in specific postures to help with preparing your body for labour and then finish with as specific breathing technique and a deep relaxation.
Classes are very friendly and easy going and you can just drop in, however would be helpful if you could complete the medical form on my website first: www.allgenerationsyoga.co.uk
Baby Yoga is also available in Shifnal on Wednesday’s at St. Andrews Church – booking is essential.
