Empowering and fun, a Bellydance-based Birth Preparation & Relaxation Course
A 5 week bellydance fitness course specifically aimed for mums-to-be. Developed by Susanne, our bellydance teacher and former midwife, our BellyBabes courses are fun, safe and effective combining gentle dance movement and relaxation.
Known as the ‘birthing dance’ the gentle hip moves and postures in bellydance have been used for centuries to help women in antenatal preparation and childbirth. Benefits include strengthening pelvic floor and other muscles, encouraging good posture, maintaining fitness, stress relief and confidence boosting!
The classes are structured as follows:
•Some gentle breathing exercises
•Belly dance moves and sequences
•Cool down with yoga stretches
