Kids Yoga is a great way to have fun with your child. The focus of these classes is on your child, and your participation to encourage them to learn and grow. We work with a variety of yoga postures that suit children’s little bodies (adults benefit to) we also do breath work, we sing songs together, which the children love and this helps to develop creative self-expression. We have fun with stories and games and during the relaxation session play beautiful soothing music or tell an enchanted story – even if the relaxation is just for a moment it has wonderful benefits.
Kids yoga allows children to have fun with their bodies and start the process of learning body and mind awareness. We cover breathing, balance, storytelling, strength, suppleness and relaxation. The class moves steadily through these areas drawing on children’s natural imagination and ability to have fun so that they are kept engaged and active whilst receiving numerous physical and mental benefits.

All the postures help with a child’s flexibility and strength whilst others help the immune system, lymphatic drainage, digestion or improve breathing function. All this helps develop healthier children, less susceptible to colds and other childhood ailments.
