Welcome to Celebrant Ceremonies by Becky. I am an independent and fully trained civil celebrant.
I personally create and deliver bespoke Wedding ceremonies, Civil partnerships, Commitment ceremonies, Vow renewals and Naming ceremonies across the Fylde Coast and surrounding area, that are unique and tailor made to reflect you and your celebration.
The joy of having a celebrant is your ceremony can be held anywhere, at anytime and include anything you wish.
Naming ceremonies are becoming increasingly popular as a beautiful alternative to a Christening.
A naming ceremony is a wonderful ceremony for a child of any age, not just for babies. As any parent knows our little ones aren’t babies for long.
It is also a very special way to welcome an adopted child or step-children into your family and wider community
The ceremony gives parent’s the opportunity to make promises, and declare their commitment and love to their child in front of friends and family in a happy and joyous celebration which can be held anywhere and at any time.
Naming Ceremonies can be traditional with religious elements.
They can be modern and include tales of parenthood.
They can be unconventional, heart-warming, funny or a beautiful blend of everything mentioned.
Some parents opt to have ‘Supporting adults’, ‘Guide parents’ or ‘God parents’ who will take part in the ceremony and promise to play a significant role in your child’s life.
A naming ceremony also gives the opportunity for siblings to show their love for their brother or sister. They can have a very important role within the ceremony.
Many parents often take the opportunity to show their thanks and love to a special family member or friend who plays a vital part in your child’s life for example Grandad. This can do this by including a special reading or poem about Grandads or he could be chosen to make vows and promises to your child.
That’s the joy of Naming Ceremonies, they are created just for you and your child to reflect your family
