Doula UK

Doula UK is the leading organisation with a membership of over 700 birth and postnatal doulas working all over the United Kingdom.

Doulas give practical, emotional and nurturing support to the whole family during pregnancy, labour and after the birth of a baby.

We offer a Find A Doula directory to help you find a doula with the relevant skills, training and experience to suit your needs. You can also find out if they are local, or work in your area or whether they offer virtual support. You can also search for doulas who speak another language and find doulas who have completed training in diversity and inclusivity or who specialise in a particular area.

Each Doula UK member must complete approved training, go through a rigorous mentoring and recognition process and comply with the Doula UK code of conduct, philosophy and our policies. Doulas also commit to continuing professional development and are recommended to have insurance. This ensures that the doulas are trained, up-to-date, experienced and well supported. 

Doula UK also runs an Access Fund to provide free doula support to those experiencing disadvantage and financial hardship.
