Gibbins School of Irish Dance

GSID is launching mother and baby Irish dance classes from 9th September 2024.

Mondays 11am-12 noon at Studio 3, Chequer Mead Theatre, De La Warr Road, East Grinstead, RH19 3BS. Pay and display parking available opposite.

Wear sporty clothing, sports bra and trainers.

Bring water, anything you need to feed and change baby, a sling to strap baby to you for step learning. Playmats will be available for more vigourous dancing!

What to expect: a short course to learn the basics of Irish dance (beginner softshoe dances, ceili). A course to focus on mum learning a new skill and regaining fitness, with a likeminded group and baby changes and feeds expected! Stay afterwards for a coffee with the other mums in the cafe on site.

Suitable for mums after 6-8 week GP check and babies aged 0-4. (Older pre-school siblings also welcome).

Two courses available: Course 1: 6 week course starting Sept 24, Course 2: 4 week course starting November 24. £9 per class.

We also run weekly Under 7s, Over 7s and Adult beginner, advanced and team classes on Wednesdays at Lingfield College – contact us for details.
