Welcome to J’adore Mama. Here we offer a range of maternity and infant services and will soon be expanding to offer you even more. We are an independent business of three years with highly qualified and insured staff supporting you and your family though your journey of pregnancy, postnatally and life as a new mum/parent.
We appreciate and support all choices of feeding and parenting therefore come along to spend some quality time with your baby and meet other new mums along the way.

You and your beautiful baby will be welcomed into a lovely, informal and easily accessible venue and given a chance to chat, meet other mums in similar situations and hopefully gain some useful advice and information whilst bonding with your baby.
The course consists of up to 8 mums and their babies. My aim is to keep the group small to ensure each family receives guidance and advice where required but big enough for the class to benefit from brain stimulation through socialising and sensory play.
No previous yoga experience is required as this is very gentle and focuses on baby’s stimulation, development, strength and reflexes whilst adding in baby relaxation at the end. This is a fun session for parents and baby.
•Gentle yoga postures and exercises for both mum and baby. •Guidance sheets where required to continue yoga moves at home
•A weekly discussion on a topic of your choice.
•Weekly emails where necessary for any concerns you have, plans for further sessions along with relevant articles and videos if required.
•Sensory stretches and play during the session
•A certificate at the end to keep in your baby’s record showing course completion
The opportunity to continue classes on a flexible basis at a reduced rate at certain locations. More information can be provided on these classes.
Yoga groups are separated into age groups so that all our moves, postures and props are suitable for the baby/child. The classes are very stimulating with lots of active movement for parent and baby including some gentle exercise, sensory and relaxation, all using music and rhythm. Many of the moves we do bring parent and baby together whilst some we encourage baby to stretch themselves with the help of parent and the instructor. All classes start with warm ups and sequence and end the same with relaxation and sensory to promote routine and so mum and baby learn what happens during the class.
Baby yoga focuses on development of milestones, strength, muscles and reflexes whilst increasing brain stimulation and independent movement. Promoting bonding between parent and baby and encouraging the social aspect.
Half an hour of baby yoga gives as much stimulation as walking around with baby for a full day therefore we spend the last 15 minutes of class having a group discussion with a light refreshment. Giving mum the opportunity for some air time, to give and gain advice whilst baby has sensory social time.
Can help to reduce the discomfort of colic, wind and constipation Promotes better sleep Regular movement promotes a more settled behaviour with less extreme ups and downs. Body systems are stimulated including digestive and nervous systems. Reduces frustration during the transition between developmental changes Develops brain stimulation eg: hand eye coordination Helps develop and build social skills A balance of activity and relaxation Helps build and encourage muscle strength eg- head holding, sitting, standing Helps mum to regain strength and maintain posture, safely tone abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, nurturing oneself whilst enjoying activities with your baby, relaxation and socialising. Develops body, mind, awareness and coordination Enhances parent’s confidence and competence in handling their baby Can help with postnatal depression
Yoga and sensory complement each other and go hand in hand. Sensory consists of
activity and items using the senses and textures to help stimulate, develop senses, reflexes and motor skills. The first 30minutes of the class will consist of mum&baby yoga. Baby’s toleration for such stimulating exercises is 30 minutes. We will include some sensory play, stretches and sensory relaxation. Followed by 15 minutes of sensory social play, group discussion, drink and relaxation.
