Hello and welcome!! I am Jessy and I am very pleased you have taken the time to see what support I can offer to you.
I am a mum of 2 who has experienced postnatal depression and struggled when I became a new mum. Becoming a mother is the best and most rewarding job I have ever done but there isn’t much talk about the downside of motherhood, is there? The overwhelm, the exhaustion, the lack of support, everyone giving you unwanted advice and feeling so low, so lost and ever so alone.
There is so much support during the pregnancy and care for your baby after it’s born but what about YOU?
And what about your Mental and Emotional health?
Who is there to help you with experiences you had during childbirth that left you feeling vulnerable and scared?
Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed with this new role of being a Mum.
Maybe you are crying all the time, lonely, sad and are unbelievably tired and feeling completely out of control or really angry?
Maybe you’ve never felt like this before and it’s frightening?
This is meant to be a good time but you just want to hide under the covers, wanting these uncomfortable feelings to go away and be the person you once were, maybe even wanting the life you had before baby?
Do you want things to stay as they are or are you ready to change it?
Work with me, a person centered therapist and coach, a fellow mum who can empathise non judgmentally with what you’re going through and support you with care and compassion. I believe YOU are the expert in your own life and will allow YOU to talk through your needs at your own pace and depth and help you find your own solutions that suits you best.
I can work with you in person in Bromsgrove, Droitwich or in your home or via Skype, telephone or personal email. You know which method of communication suits you best and what will fit in with your life, so the choice is yours.
If you are not ready to have a session then feel free to download my New Mum guide (eepurl.com/c88rWr) offering you great mental health strategies and reflection space to help you through this time of great change.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch, it would be lovely to hear from you.
You ARE a good mother, you ARE doing a good job and asking for support doesn’t mean you are not coping. Sometimes we are the ones helping and other times we are the ones who need help.
I’m here for you when you are ready to receive help.
All my love,
Jessy
