Who we are:
Lilypad Baby is a small business established to offer hands on baby massage at The Party Parlour, Scissett, near Denby Dale, Huddersfield.
Our underlying principle is that baby always comes first…

The sessions are run on the basis that whether a child needs feeding, changing or whether they are unsettled, their needs will always come first.

We never forget that all new parents are in the same boat and that our children don’t always operate to our timetables – much as we’d like them to sometimes. There is no pressure and we never judge.

Discussions will also be encouraged at the end of each session to talk about any challenges carers may face such as crying, colic, post natal stress etc. This gives parents the opportunity to share their thoughts or anxieties and benefit from the experience of others.

Our tutor has completed the Royal College of Midwifery approved Baby Massage and Baby Yoga qualification through Hands on Babies.
Not only do we have dedicated venues across West Yorkshire, Lilypad Baby understands that sometimes with new babies, for a variety of reasons, it’s not always easy to get out of the house. So that is why we can also come to you!
You don’t need to tidy as long as there is sufficient floor space its warm and away from drafts, our tutor will happily work through the course programme with you and your friends.

Our sessions have been developed as a comprehensive five step programme designed to introduce carers and their babies to the basic principles of baby massage in a clear consistent and easy to follow fashion.
Baby massage classes run for 5 weeks and cost £40, you will be provided with a free bottle of oil and comprehensive course handouts on the massage techniques, enabling you to practice at home.

Our Venue:
We have sole use of The Party Parlour at Scissett, near Denby Dale. The venue has plenty of space, toilet facilities, kitchen area and either road side parking or a car park behind the building. Cushions and yoga mats are provided and tea, coffee and refreshments are available as part of the hour session.
