Me & My Baby Massage

My name is Gemma, I am a Mum of 2 children and run Me & My Baby Massage. I am an experienced Infant Massage Instructor and trained through the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) 10 years ago and have taught in the local area since. I am also a Massage in Schools Programme Instructor, having trained through the Massage in Schools Association and a Story Massage Instructor.

My courses run for 5 consecutive weeks, each session lasts 90 minutes. Each week I teach massage strokes on different parts of the body so that by the end of the course you will have learned the whole of the massage routine, this allows your baby to become used to the massage, as well as giving us time to discuss other topics related to massage like the colic relief routine and benefits of the massage for you and your baby. The massage courses are suited for babies from birth – 12 Months but then you can continue it with your child until any age.

I teach my courses in a home from home environment, which will enable each group to be small, with no more than 4 babies with their parents/caregivers, making it more personal, friendly and relaxed for you and your baby, both parents are welcome on the course, as are twins.

Advanced booking is needed due to the limited spaces per course and payment is taken at the time of booking to reserve your space.

Attending my courses also gives you the opportunity to continue with my Baby Massage drop-in sessions, attend Story Massage sessions and follow on to the Massage in Schools Programme, teaching peer massage for children between the ages of 4 – 12 years, which can also be used at home between parent and child or siblings.

I also offer courses on a one-to-one basis either in my home or the comfort of your own home and if you have a pre-formed Parent and Baby Group, I can travel to you for your weekly get together and teach you valuable life skills that you will all benefit from, for this option the host goes absolutely free (minimum 4 participants applies).
