Come along to Messy Monkeys and let the kids squelch gloop, splash water and splodge paints…and then we will do all of the tidying up!
Messy Monkeys is the original and messiest messy play group in the region! We have been running since 2010 and have welcomed more than 1000 monkeys through our paint splattered doors! Every week there’s a different theme with new goos and gloops to explore and we’ll help you create something special to take home.
Attending a Messy Monkeys session is a great way for your child to explore different materials and textures, learn about cause and effect and to develop motor and language skills. Free and creative play is an essential part of a child’s learning process, assisting in the understanding of Science and Maths and well as developing talent in Arts and Crafts.
Messy Play is a fabulous way of allowing young children to gain confidence in their own imagination. At Messy Monkeys we focus on the process and not the product allowing children the freedom to create their own masterpieces to take home.
Sessions with Messy Monkeys help to focus that seemingly endless energy and young children learn social skills through sharing tools and taking turns.
Messy Play focuses on activities you wouldn’t normally encourage at home…we clean up the mess so your walls, carpets and sofas are safe from Messy Monkey paws!
Wrigglers, rollers, crawlers and cruisers are all welcome at the Baby Sessions which are structured especially for the tiniest monkeys, while walkers and talkers attend the Toddler Sessions where they have the freedom to create their own Messy Play.
