Mummy and Me Ballerina Babies

One of our sweetest classes is our “Mummy & Me” Ballet. The class is offered to younger children from walking to 2.5 years. It gives Mummy (or the primary care giver) an opportunity to join in and share their child’s first ballet experience and is perfect for those children not quite ready to leave Mummy to go in to our Ballerina babies classes on their own. The classes have a Magical feel and are themed around an enchanted forest, where the children and adults will use props and imagery to make their class special. The lessons involve songs, dancing to music, musical response through movement, basic movement co-ordination and an introduction to basic ballet steps. Mummies should not be put off thinking they will be having to do ballet – Mummies are there for cuddles, giggles and encouragement! No need for any tutus or previous ballet experience for our Mummies!
