Music Bugs North Down

Music Bugs is all about having fun and exploring music together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We provide gently structured, play-based sessions where children can develop, grow and have fun in a multi-sensory environment. Our 40-minute classes are full of excitement with a huge variety of props including puppets, parachutes, pom poms, bubbles, scarves, teddies, hobby horses and lots of tactile percussion instruments. We sing nursery rhymes, counting songs, finger-play rhymes, knee bouncers and action songs. Our award- winning sessions are great for developing confidence, co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills, early literacy, numeracy, speech and language, independence and social skills.

Our classes are suitable for children from birth to five years and are currently divided into two groups. Every class will make use of at least three different props and we have special themed sessions too.

🐞 Baby Bugs is for babies from birth to beginning to find their feet. We will sing lots of lovely songs, and we also have sensory playtime to allow those little hands to explore different textures and shapes around them.

🦋 Family Bugs is a mixed aged class for children from 0 – 5 and is perfect for those up on their feet or with little siblings joining them. These sessions will naturally be much more active and involve lots of moving around! We work hard to make sure activities are suitable for all the children who attend.
