Nantclwyd y Dre is a 15th century townhouse and is the oldest timber framed house in Wales. Each of the seven ages of the house is shown in rooms restored and dressed in their original style.
Read the stories of the many and fascinating people who lived here and step into the rooms they once occupied. Then explore the newly renovated Lord’s Garden which is hidden at the back of the property and gives you the feeling of being in a secret garden in the middle of a busy Welsh town.
We left one room alone because some special and rare residents are still in occupation, you can watch them on or “bat cam”.
There are also many activities and story bags for all ages to enjoy.
