Pregnancy yoga and Mother & Baby yoga
Hi I a qualified 200 hr yoga teacher plus I have qualifications in pregnancy and postnatal/ baby yoga as well as being a NCT qualified Antenatal practitioner.
The classes are a wonderful safe environment where you get to meet new mums chat about different pregnancy / birth topics, new mum and baby topics and work on breathing/ visualisation techniques to help you for birth and postnatal recovery.
Yoga based exercises are an important part of each session you don’t need any previous experience of yoga.
The main benifits:
• Reduced back ache
• Improved quality of sleep
• Reduced anxiety
• Strengthened joints and muscles
• Increased flexibility
• Increased blood circulation
• Reduced swelling from fluid retention
• Improved posture and body awareness
• Strengthened abdominal and pelvic muscles
• Improved digestive
These are followed by gentle massage techniques.
We then break for a chat and cake which gives you the precious opportunity to Make friends with other mums to be.
Finally, we end the session with a well-earned relaxation.
