Splash and Swim, is a local swim school based in Whitley Bay, offering lessons to children in the area. We initially taught primary school aged children but have now expanded to include babies and toddlers.
Our team of swimming instructors have all undertaken a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and and hold up to date certificates, the instructors also have accredited Swim England – ASA Level 1 and ASA Level 2 teaching qualifications and a lifesaving qualification.
We currently use two pools for our swimming lessons and both of these are hydrotherapy pools within local schools, Woodlawn School – Monkseaton and Beacon Hill School – Wallsend. We find that the increased temperatures in the hydrotherapy pools allows the children to remain focused on the activities and not become as distracted.
