My classes are a really fun way to start to use sign language with your baby. Teaching your baby some basic signs can give them the ability to communicate more effectively before they learn to speak and ease some of the frustration they feel at not always being able to tell you what they want or how they’re experiencing the world around them. Each week we have a different theme (pets, going out, going to bed etc) and we learn signs by singing well known nursery rhymes and action songs.
TinyTalk classes are about so much more than signing too – with activities designed to engage and develop all the senses your baby needs for effective communication, encouraging both signing and speech. Also, the second half of class is always dedicated social time. While the little ones play I’ll make drinks for all the grown-ups, hand out the (wrapped!) biscuits and everyone can get to know each other – like your own exclusive little playgroup!
