WaterBumps can help with strengthening legs, hips and back to limit the aches and pains you might experience in later stages. We introduce breathing techniques that can be used through pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond!
Your body is going through a rapid growth spurt at this point. WaterBumps class will allow you to work on expanding your breath, increasing your lunch capacity as well as strengthening your pelvic floor alongside blissful relaxation and time out for you and bump.
WaterBumps will help you with any pregnancy aches and pains and help you cope with increasing movements of your growing baby to gently stretch to make more room for baby and you more comfortable.
WaterBumps will continue to work on breathing techniques and exercises for labour and birth as well as opening up your pelvis to exercises to turn back to back babies and encourage baby to get into the correct position.
WaterBumps is a pre-natal programme delivered in the comfort of water. These classes have been designed with a range of expert partners over a number of years to help women cope better with the many demands of pregnancy – and ensure they concentrate on having some relaxation time to themselves. As WaterBumps teachers, we are accredited by the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), and we aim to work with and alongside other healthcare professionals in similar, complementary fields to give pregnant women the support and advice they need to have an enjoyable pregnancy.
We cover techniques such as full body stretches, upper body and yoga poses, hip openers and shoulder stretches and lower back and front stretches.
Classes are held across South Devon, Plymouth and Cornwall!
