A Post-Natal Pilates class suitable for beginners and women returning to Pilates after having a baby.
The classes will focus on healing your body from the inside out, strengthening your abdominal muscles, improving your pelvic floor, breathing fully & stabilising your pelvis in a gentle, controlled way in a group with other mums who are on a similar journey. The postnatal period is a time to have patience with your body and give yourself time to recover.
It will allow you to strengthen your body properly so that you can return to more strenuous exercise if you wish without difficulties.
You are welcome to come with or without your babies
I you would like to bring your (pre-crawling) little one please bring a play mat or blanket so that they can lay beside you & have some wriggle time!
The course will be held on Mondays 11:15am at the Sanctuary Workshops in Aylestone.
The course is bookable in advance as spaces will be limited to 10 and this guarantees your place.
