Hypnobirthing Courses
These courses are run over two consecutive Saturdays, and cover everything you need to know about hypnobirthing and how it can help you with your birth. From the underlying concepts of hypnotherapy, the anatomical principals of birth and practical techniques to help you through labour. You will be given home work to practice between the sessions. For you and your birth partner.
What is HypnoBirthing?
Most of us are familiar with the use of hypnotherapy to help overcome fears, like flying. Similarly, hypnobirthing can help to remove worries, concerns, and negative associations in relation to childbirth (like the idea that it has to be painful).
By developing an understanding of the biological, physiological and psychological elements of childbirth (in other words how the woman’s body is naturally designed to give birth) any doubts and negative associations are replaced by calm confidence and a positive approach.
The simple and gentle self-hypnosis and breathing techniques you will learn to use can have a profound effect and help labour and birth to be an empowering and joyful experience.
This course can only be booked as a whole.
