Young England Kindergarten is a family owned and operated nursery school that was established in the early 1960’s. Our Kindergarten is situated in a spacious setting next to the beautiful gardens of St George’s Square in Pimlico (City of Westminster). Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in March 2024.
The setting is light, airy and has a stage at one end, plus two additional teaching rooms. There is an enclosed courtyard at the front as well as access to the large garden in St George’s Square. This provides plenty of opportunity for daily outdoor play.
We are open during term time only. Our Caterpillar Session is available for five mornings a week and caters for children aged two to three years old. Our Butterfly Session is for children aged three to four years, taking place on five mornings and three afternoons per week (Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays) until 3 pm.
We offer a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities, such as dancing, drama, gardening, football, to name but a few!
Enrolment operates on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, as there are a limited number of spaces available.
Our versatile approach to teaching incorporates contemporary methods and maintains traditional values. This ethos stems from over 50 years of teaching experience at nursery level and a sincere aspiration of wanting each child to have the best possible start in life.
Our highly capable team of staff have a wide ranging set of skills, which enables us to ensure that all of our children continue on to the next stage of their education with confidence and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
