Mini First Aid family appear on top TV show
When husband and wife team, Kate and Matt Ball pitch for an investment on top BBC One show Dragons’ Den, it will certainly be a family affair. Kate and Matt are joined by four of their six young children during the 12th episode of Dragons’ Den (BBC One) due to air on 24th June 2021 at 9pm.
The Ball children, aged between 4 and 10 years old, support their parents in their quest to gain an investment from the Dragons.
Kate Ball, Director of Mini First Aid is super excited to see the show. Kate says:
“Mini First Aid provides first aid classes for all the family, so it seemed only fitting that we took some of our own family along with us to the Den. Bringing our youngest set of twins was just one step too far though! The whole process of appearing on Dragons’ Den was absolutely incredible and we can’t wait to see our episode. One thing’s for sure – our kids will be more famous than us!”
Kate and Matt pitched to the following team of Dragons from the 18th series of the BBC 1 show: Sara Davies, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani.

Editor’s Notes:
Kate Ball set up Mini First Aid from her kitchen table in 2014, running first aid classes for parents and carers in her local area. Kate saw the potential for growth and together with her husband Matt, franchised the business across the UK. Mini First Aid now teaches basic and lifesaving first aid to around one thousand adults and children a week.
During the pandemic, Mini First Aid has trained thousands of people online in infection control, to ensure that businesses are COVID safe. In April 2021, Mini First Aid launched their ‘Healthy Minds’ programme, to help children and young people understand how to stay healthy mentally as well as physically.
