Today we have a article from the talented Alice Molloy who owns Alice Molloy Interiors, if you love home decor you should definately head over to her blog. Alice shares her opinion on the best Halloween decor items for families.
First of all, I wanted to introduce myself – I am Alice from Alice Molloy Interiors and this is a very quick blog with some of the best Halloween Decor items for families I have seen around recently to give your home that extra spooky feeling for the kiddies, while keeping it sophisticated at the same time (it can be a tricky task!)
Pumpkins are of course everywhere at this time of year, and it is vastly becoming the decor item shape of choice. These are the best fake pumpkins. Cute tip – get some plain white ones and you can decorate them with your children!
Why not jazz up the front porch/door with a halloween wreath! Autumn wreaths are being more and more popular these days, see my blog
So this one from amazon is perfect for the trick or treaters as it includes bats into the design!
Or you can opt for a totally all black gothic inspired wreath from TK Maxx
Best Kept Secret
Now this is my best kept secret, which I am sure most of you will already know and do! Homesense…. I can not stress about this shop enough for all of your decor needs! Now they do change there stock daily, so if you have something in mind I would pop in at least twice a week. I know not ideal but once it is gone, it is gone!
If you didn’t know, Homesense is owned by TK-Max and they do stock some of the items on the website! Again you have to be quick. If like me, I would go down and get some pumpkin spiced candles, nothing better than your home smelling of sweet, spiced pumpkin & cinnamon (in my opinion).
Before I forget, this will go great with the black gothic wreath!
Thats it for now and if there is anything specific you would like me to talk about on the next blog please do let us know!
