The Snowman Tour
I don’t know about you but in the last week or so I have actually had to put the heating on… THE HEATING ON IN AUGUST … I know it’s madness!!
Listen… it is not because I don’t love Summer because I do… I really do but I can’t help but feel some kind of excitement about the cosy nights coming up…. I used to dread the end of Summer but since becoming a mummy there is just something so magical about the Autumn and Winter months… I am looking forward to Autumn walks and the sound of the leaves crisping and crunching under 3 sets of feet this year and then walking through the door at home and being instantly hit with the smelling the aroma of a slow cooked meal mmm….
Christmas Excitement
I am obviously extremely excited for Christmas this year too… the reason why I am thinking of Christmas so early this year is because last week we were invited to The Snowman Tour at The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
Now Christmas is never Christmas in my house without the following 3 things;
– Home Alone 1 & 2
– A tub of Cadbury’s hot chocolate and marshmallows
– The Snowman movie
(Some of you may argue that above there are 5 things but some of those above go hand in hand.. you see you can never watch home alone 2 without watching home alone 1 at Christmas and you can never have marshmallows without the hot chocolate)
The Snowman Tour
The Snowman Tour will definitely give you that warm Christmas feeling inside that we all long for.
The classic Christmas film – written by Raymond Briggs, will be showcased on a huge screen and accompanying the magical Christmas favourite will be a live orchestra ….How much more Christmassy can you get? I for one am so excited!!!
The song “Walking in the Air” will no doubt be spine-chilling with the voice of a young soloist to really get you in the Christmas spirit and give you those much loved Christmas goosebumps.
The actual Snowman is also due to make a surprise appearance too and I cannot wait to see George’s face when he comes out.
The Second Half of the Event
The Snowman film will be shown in the first half and then another short animated film will be showcased in the second half. The second film varies depending on which venue you are attending. At some of the venues the film will be the “Nutcracker” but at most venues it will be the new and exclusive film “The Bear and The Piano” This film is based on the award winning book written by the amazingly talented David Litchfield.
The Tower Ballroom
We are heading to the famous and much loved Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 17th December 2017 where they will be showing “The Snowman and The Bear and The Piano”.
The Snowman tour covers so many fantastic places…. and the venues that have been chosen are fantastic, some of the venues include Cathedrals and Churches. All I can say is that “The Snowman Tour” will most certainly give you that warm fuzzy Christmas feeling as well as amazing memories that you and your family will cherish forever.

I know what your thinking… “it’s Summer Carla calm the hell down“, I would do but I don’t want you to miss this fantastic opportunity and many of the venues are already very nearly sold out. So get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
