Ballerina Babies

Welcome to the wonderful and enchanted world of “Ballerina Babies” where magic really does happen! Our delightful syllabus is so cute and will make your child want to be a real life fairy!! The syllabus has been created by our Head of Dance and focuses on exercises and music that are age appropriate and that will help develop your child’s fine and gross motor skills – jumping in puddles, catching rainbows and so much more! The focus is on fun and magic but is also designed to encourage your child to start to gain some independence, grow in confidence and interact with other children and their teacher. All of our “Ballerina Babies” ballet teachers are experienced in working with young children and have a gentle and friendly approach to teaching. Your child will learn through play and imagination using props to make their experience more engaging and exciting. Ballerina Babies classes start from 2 and half years, at this age we make it a magical experience, whilst introducing them to the basics of ballet through our enchanted forest theme. Children will dust the forest, wake up the crocodile in the enchanted pond and have lots of fun whilst learning their ballet steps. From 3 years up, we still keep the enchanted forest theme and introduce more positions and their correct names so the children can start to build up an understanding of the basic ballet terminology. From 4 years we introduce our little ballerina’s to the RAD syllabus exercises but still keeping it fun and exciting for the children. This can lead onto them taking their exams with the RAD. Children will be fully prepared to start the Pre-Primary RAD ballet if they have taken our Ballerina Babies classes.
