RSPB Old Moor is a beautiful nature reserve in the heart of the Dearne Valley. You and your little one can explore the reserve and become nature detectives as you discover the wildlife that makes it their home.
All paths are buggy and wheelchair friendly. We have a café and shop and baby changing facilities. We are recognised by the Barnsley Infant Feeding Team as a breastfeeding friendly site. We are a quality assured visitor attraction and rated highly on TripAdvisor.
During school holidays we have activities for all ages from Monday to Friday and special events throughout the year such as outdoor theatre and stargazing.
To help you discover the site you can hire an activity backpack full of explorer’s equipment or a pond dipping kit.
