8 month Old Azaylia Cain passes away after Leukaemia Battle
Azaylia Cain died on Saturday- at 8 months old- following her battle with acute myeloid leukaemia.
- Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee, had been updating fans on their daughter’s battle with leukaemia on social media, with over 100,000 people joining the stem cell register.
- They raised over £1 million for their daughter’s treatment in Singapore- but Azaylia became too ill to travel.
- The strong 8 month old went through 4 rounds of chemotherapy in her leukaemia battle.
- Doctors revealed, earlier this month, that there was no more treatment available for the baby girl after multiple tumours were found in her body.
Both parents left emotional messages on their Instagram pages after their daughter’s tragic death.
