Stir-fried pork with Peppers and Cabbage
Oh I love a god stir fry, ideal for a night when you are busy and don’t have time to cook up a big fancy meal.
Ingredients (serves 4)
3 tablespoons vegetables oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon root ginger, finely chopped • 200 grams of pork steak, thinly sliced • 1 carrot cut into matchstick shaped pieces • 1 red and 1 yellow pepper cut into matchstick shaped pieces.
1/2 Chinese cabbage, chopped
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
75 grams of bean sprouts
Carla’s Method
heat the oil in a large wok and fry the garlic and fingers for 30 seconds.
add the pork and fry for 2 minutes then add the carrots, peppers and fry for 2 more minutes.
add the cabbage continue to fry and stir for another 2 minutes.
mix the oyster sauce with the soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of water, add to the wok with the bean sprouts.
fry for 1 more minute before serving.
