Where is Blackpool?

Nickelodeon Land
Nickelodeon Land is located inside the Blackpool Pleasure Beach – a great place to head with children of all ages. The wide range of rides available means that you can enjoy lots of areas within the theme park.
Nickelodeon Land is full of fantastic rides, such as Spongebob’s Splash Bash, a pirate treasure ride, the Rugratz Lost River and plenty more. This place is great for children up to age 12, and young children will love the excitement and bright colours around the park.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Aside from the wonderful Nickelodeon Land, you could easily spend the whole day at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. There are rides available to suit all ages, many with themes and other classics such as the log flume and, of course, the famous Big One! Are you brave enough to try it out? As theme parks go, this one is very impressive.
There are plenty of places to eat within the park, and there are other amenities making it easier to spend the day there with smaller children too. You’re in for an adrenaline-filled day by adding this one to your plans. Check out their website for ticket booking and opening times.
Sea Life Blackpool
Sea Life Blackpool is a fantastic place to take the kids. The staff are friendly and full of expert knowledge. If you’re looking for an interactive day out, then this is the place to go, you can get so close to the fish. Young children will be mesmerised by the lights and the variety of fish swimming around. You might even get to see a couple of sharks!
There are often events running alongside, so be sure to check out the website before visiting. If you want to have an extraordinary experience, they also offer turtle feeding and snorkelling with sharks! To take part, you must be over 10 years old and be able to swim. Check out their website.

Blackpool Tower
The iconic Blackpool Tower is full of exciting activities, so you can spend plenty of time there. Head into the lift and see some incredible views of Blackpool and its seafront or enjoy a spectacle at the Blackpool Tower Circus! All Strictly lovers can enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and do some dancing too!

Blackpool Zoo
Blackpool Zoo is perfect for all the family, and there are so many cute and exciting animals to see! Head through the wonderful dinosaur Safari into the wild and see many fascinating animals. You can expect to see capybaras, flamingos, monkeys, kangaroos, zebras, tigers, lions, and so much more!
Throughout the day, they hold regular talks and feeding times with a range of animals so that you can learn more. Blackpool Zoo is a fantastic place to bring the kids, and you can definitely spend the whole day here.

Blackpool Prom walks
Blackpool Prom is a fantastic place to walk with the kids, you can enjoy the beach view and take a walk across the famous Blackpool Comedy Carpet outside the Blackpool Tower. Why not treat yourself to an ice cream if the weather is nice?
Blackpool’s promenade is a great place to walk no matter what time of day it is. You can enjoy a sunset or even a sunrise if you’re an early bird and the kids are awake! There are lots of places to eat along the way, and you’ll definitely find lots of candyfloss, and Blackpool rock down there.
Donkey rides on the beach
A tradition along the Fylde Coast – why not let the kids enjoy a fun donkey ride in Blackpool? Kids will love travelling across Blackpool Beach while also enjoying the animals. You could spend some time relaxing on the beach with ice cream after, taking in the fresh sea air. These donkey rides aren’t available all year round, so be sure to plan ahead with your visit.
The World of Peter Rabbit
Children will absolutely love the World of Peter Rabbit. During your visit, they can enjoy the oversized world filled with bright colours and items to interact with. In addition, children can complete activities during the visit to make it into the secret treehouse club.

Sandcastle Waterpark
Are you ready to make a splash? Then you best gather your swimming gear and head to the wonderful Sandcastle Waterpark! This is the UK’s largest indoor waterpark, and it really is the perfect place to visit with the family.
Inside the water park, you’ll find a range of thrilling water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river. This is a fantastic place to visit if you want to have hours of fun with your family in Blackpool.

Coral Island
Now, if you love amusement parks, this is a fantastic option. The whole family will enjoy visiting, and you really can have hours of fun! There are lots of arcade machines where you can win prizes with the family, as well as a range of rides too!
There are lots of family rides and even some for the older kids, such as a thrilling ghost train. Coral Island is an excellent Blackpool attraction, and the best thing is that you don’t need to rely on nice weather to have an amazing day!
